Never has a truer statement been more applicable than in the resurfacing market place. Refinishing is a great alternative to replacement if it is carried out with the correct quality materials and procedures and carried out by a professional contractor. Please be aware of the following:

- Some products will yellow, they are not UV resistant. Make sure you have confirmation that the product will not yellow.

- Some products will not tolerate hot water

- Poor preparation will cause the product to fail

- Enamelling, Re-enamelling, Baked enamel and Synthetic Porcelain are generic marketing terms to describe a paint based resurface coating applied from a spray gun.

- Car and marine paint products should not be used on bathrooms or Kitchens. The manufacturer does not recommend these products to be used for this purpose

- Don’t accept a product with a slow cure time 24-72 hours means the product is not as strong and will leave fumes in the air for a longer period.

- Poor quality products give a poor quality finish, don’t risk it.
